Been a while....

Heyo!

Haven't posted in a while...Am super tired but felt like updating because...................I felt like updating, I guess. :)  How is everyone?  I haven't talked to people in a while, it feels like. =( 

Anyways....Life's actually pretty boring for me right now.  I mean, don't get me wrong!  It's super busy; it's just also very boring and tedious things that I'm busy with.  Yesterday, I was thinking about how fast the time really has been going.  I mean, come on!  The Super Bowl was yesterday!!  (Meaning football season is over AGAIN...Yes.  I know.  Very depressing. =_( )

Today, I was looking back over the last few months trying to figure out what I've accomplished and what kind of memories I'll have of how I spent my Senior year, and it quite honestly hurt.  I never, ever thought that I'd spend it stuck constantly in classes and doing homework, fretting over prep work for piano events, working every spare minute, and not doing really anything social or church-related or anything just for the heck of it-for fun.  I feel like every spare minute is spent worrying about getting ready for the next test, turning massive assignments in before midnight, getting from school to work on time and vice-versa, having my piano pieces memorized, applying for enough scholarships...the list goes on and on...

And some days, it's okay.  I can handle it.  God gives me enough grace and joy in the midst of it to get through.  And then other days, it's so hard...I'm just so tired...Katie's just so critical of my every word and step...Mom and Dad are on my case and lecturing me again about my friends (those that I no longer have, so it doesn't even matter)...A co-worker is crabby...A friend goes on and on about being involved in the things that I used to constantly be a part of and loved with all my heart but am no longer allowed to be involved in...A friend doesn't talk to me for weeks...There's too much homework to keep up with...Guys at school make dumb comments or ask me out...My car breaks down...My heart is so hurt and lonely and so very confused...

So, life's an adventure right now that I'm praying will somehow get better soon.  Your prayers are always appreciated. :)  I love you all.  I have a Chem and a Calc test tomorrow, so I better go study...

Dudes EJ and Anthony...Between the two of them, I was white-washed, snow-banked, snow-bombed, down-hill-crashed, jumped on, and over-all beaten up...And definitely felt loved.   You boys rock my socks off!

Me and Lany (Abs, did I spell her name right??).  She's pretty much totally adorable.  Our faces (I take that back...ALL of us) were completely frozen!

Anthony!!   I love this kid like crazy.  I wish I could adopt him and his sister.  I wouldn't ever let them go for anything in the whole world...not ever.   I'm not sure why God's given me such a heart for these kids but my heart just breaks every time I leave them.    I love them both to death!

 So, to sum it up...I spent most of the day hanging out with the amazing Stranz family.  It was a wonderful treat to see Em, Nate, and Rue!  She's so big already and cute as ever.   I watched a couple different video games that were being played for quite a while.  Don't ask me what they were called or what the point of them was because I can't tell ya!  (Hey!  I didn't say that they actually made any sense to me; I just watched them. )  Then Abbers and I went to the movie, stopped and got coffee, ran a couple errands, and came home. 

Then I got to go "sledding" with Josh, EJ, Jordy, Anna, Lanie, and Anthony!!  Talk about a super painful, awesomely amazing blast!  No, that was not supposed to make any sense.   I'm pretty sure that I haven't been this black and blue since volleyball season.   Definitely worth it though!  Elijah James and Jordan Thomas!  You two are going down!  And Miss Anna...Calling me stupid!...Heehee!  Good times!
